Welcome to Royal Caribbean International – a place where innovation and imagination reign supreme. From its very beginning, this company has always been guided by the principles of 'Why Not?' Why not design a ship specifically to cruise the Caribbean? Why not split it into two to add more features? Why not add rock walls and ice skating rinks and surf simulators?
All of those features allow our guests to ask 'Why Not?' in turn – to go out and see, do and be more than they had ever thought possible. To feel that on a Royal Caribbean cruise holiday, they can rediscover who they really are. With more than 280 destinations worldwide and an amazing array of exciting shore excursions and cruisetour options, we're giving our citizens the chance to try something new – why not go glacier-trekking in Alaska, cave-tubing in Belize, biking through the vineyards of Dubrovnik, Croatia; experience the wonders of China or why not do nothing at all? The choice is yours.

This is an exciting time for us as we continue our history of innovation. In November, our vision and determination to provide our guests with even more choices will culminate with the debut of Oasis of the Seas. At 220,000 gross registered tons, this new ship will present guests with many at-sea 'firsts' such as an open-air Central Park, an AquaTheater with spectacular high diving performances, the first carousel at sea on the Boardwalk and much more. It is without a doubt that guests on Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, her sister-ship launching in 2010 – will be introduced to a holiday experience unlike anything you can find in one place, on land or at sea.

Other exciting news is that Freedom of the Seas will move to her new home of Port Canaveral in May, offering Caribbean cruises aboard one of the world's most innovative and renowned cruise ships. Holidaymakers will now have a total of three Florida ports from which to cruise aboard a Freedom Class ship, including Port Canaveral, Miami on Liberty of the Seas, and seasonally from Fort Lauderdale on Independence of the Seas.

Los Angeles also will be home to the Pacific's first Voyager Class ship,
Mariner of the Seas. Southern California holidaymakers can now book a Mexican Riviera cruise aboard one of the ships that first offered an onboard ice-skating rink, rock-climbing wall, nine-hole mini-golf course, and the Royal Promenade.

Our brand also has experienced significant growth internationally. Visiting 280 ports in 81 countries on six continents, our ships are visiting more worldwide destinations than ever before. We have a record eight ships in Europe this summer; Legend of the Seas sails year-round in Asia, and exciting itineraries and cruisetours in Australia and South America.

Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about Royal Caribbean International. We hope to see you on board one of our ships soon.
